JPSA's leadership through its board of directors and National Council determines the organisation's direction, operations and methodologies to ensure maximum effectiveness and impact.

Howard Dembovsky - Chairman - Director (CEO)
Chairman and founding member of JPSA Howard Dembovsky is an ex-policeman who has established a reputation for being outspoken with respect to road safety as well as traffic law enforcement issues. His outspoken, no-nonsense approach and nature has earned him more than his fair share of enemies, as well as a healthy amount of respect and support from others.
He currently consults and advises in matters pertaining to road safety and legislation to legal professionals, and other stake holders, along with providing in-depth training for companies and individuals.
Anton Burger -Director
Anton Burger is a successful criminal attorney who has established an enviable track record in defending persons accused of traffic law offences as well as other areas of law in which he practices.
Having gained his LLB in the Western Cape and run a successful practice in Cape Town for several years, Anton moved up to Johannesburg a few years ago and has continued to advance his practice in Gauteng.
Nico Dreyer - Director
Nico Dreyer is a successful software architect in the medical industry and holds a BSc degree from the University of Potchefstroom.
Vusi Gumedi - Director & Deputy-Chairman
Vusi Gumedi is the Deputy-Chairman of JPSA and holds a long and distinguished relationship with the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) in tackling road safety and traffic law enforcement issues.
Mike Simmonds -Director
Mike Simmonds is a Chartered Secretary and Tax Consultant who brings an enormous wealth of corporate governance experience to JPSA.
Stan Bezuidenhout - National Council Member
Stan is a forensic crash investigator with significant experience in collision investigation, analysis, reconstruction and law enforcement. (With experience at more than 7,500 collisions). Stan is a JPSA National Council Member
Michael Behrens - National Council Member
Michael is a software developer and a JPSA National Council Member.
Jessica Simmonds - National Council Member
Jessica is a business and communications consultant and a JPSA National Council Member.
Frans van Antwerp - National Council Member
Frans is a retired banker and a JPSA National Council Member.
Bessie van Antwerp
Bessie has been involved with JPSA since 2009 and is both, National Secretary of the organisation and a JPSA National Council Member. She is also a retired banker and a home loans originator.
